Calibration Procedure

To calibrate the detector perform the following procedure.

Calibrate O

in clean air.

If C is pressed at any time during the calibration

procedure, calibration is ABORTED. The detector

emits a quick beep and the calibration due dates

are displayed before the detector returns to normal

operation.

Start Calibration

Note

Verify that the calibration gas you are using

matches the span concentration value(s) in the

detector. See the section,

Calibration Gas

Concentration.

1. In a clean atmosphere, press and hold

C as the

detector beeps, flashes, and vibrates to the

corresponding OFF countdown. Continue to hold

C as the detector briefly deactivates.

2. The detector then reactivates and performs the

CAL countdown. Continue to hold C until the CAL

countdown is complete to enter calibration.

Note

If C is not held for the entire CAL countdown, the

detector will deactivate.
